VNT GRANTS
CA17111 VIRTUAL NETWORKING GRANTS
Virtual Networking Tools aim to introduce two new types of Grants to build capacity and spread the uptake of virtual collaboration across different research communities, in the form of a pilot scheme running until 31 October 2021. There are two types of Grant available:
Virtual Mobility (VM) Grants
These grants aim at strengthening the existing networks by allowing scientists to foster collaboration in a virtual setting, to exchange knowledge, learn new techniques, disseminate the Action results, etc.
Past VM Grants:
Generation of a Plant – Pathogen Expression Atlas in grapevine. The specific case of Pectin Methylesterase gene family. (04/07/2022 to 04/09/2022) Beneficiary: Jorge Javier Lagreze Pérez, Center Agriculture Food Environment (C3A) (Trento), Italy
Creation of a R package to improve GBS Sequencing using Restriction enzymes in grapevine (01/10/2021 to 31/10/2021) Beneficiary: Alberto Rodriguez Izquierdo, Center for Plant Biotechnology and Genomics (UPM-INIA) (Pozuelo de Alarcón), Spain
Metabolite profiling: drought-tolerant grapevine rootstocks (11/10/2021 to 29/10/2021), Beneficiary: Ignacio Buesa, Research Group of Plant Biology under Mediterranean Conditions (Palma de Mallorca), Spain
Preparation and Management of COST Integrape Workshop at the ISGPB2021 Symposium (15/9/2021 to 30/10/2021), Beneficiary: José Tomás Matus, Institute for Integrative Systems Biology (I2SysBio) (VALÈNCIA), Spain
Bioinformatic data analyses on metagenomics dataset from grapevine rhizosphere (27/09/2021 to 15/10/2021) Beneficiary: Barnabás Kovács, Hungarian University of Agriculture and Life Sciences (Gödöllő), Hungary
Virtual Networking Support (VNS) Grant
This grant aims at promoting virtual collaboration as a complement to traditional ways of collaboration within the research and innovation communities. This mechanism intends to stimulate virtual collaboration among the members of a given Action.
Past VNS Grants:
Coordination of Virtual Activities in Integrape (16/02/2022 to 08/09/2021) Beneficiary: Anne-Marie Digby, Department of Biotechnology, University of Verona (Verona), Italy
Virtual Coordination of Virtual Activities and Mobility in Integrape (01/07/2021 to 30/10/2021) Beneficiary: Anne-Marie Digby, Department of Biotechnology, University of Verona (Verona), Italy
